I am struggling to find decent figures for Persian Immortals of the Marathon/Plataea era.
1st Corps and Wargames Foundry/Casting Room do nice figures but in the ceremonial robes of the contemporary sources. I feel their combat dress would be the Persian pyjamas (similar to the sparabara) but with scale armour. Wargames Foundry do a pack with half the figures armoured in their old Persian range and Warlord Games do them but I don’t like the sculpts.

I would go for the 1st Corps figures. Their sparabara figures have the Median dress and most of the spearmen and archers have body armor.
And Emailing them to ask them to add different shields instead of the spara should be no problem; speaking from experience myself.
Although I thought that the Immortals fought in the normal way of the Sparabara, just more richly ordained and tougher to rout.

I like the Pendraken ones.

My preferred figures are the Crusader ones. But they just do Sparabara for this period. If the immortals wore their armour under their ceremonial robes maybe they would have worn armour under their Persian battle dress? So I could use the Crusader figures for them as well?

Of course, if they wore their armour underneath their tunics. The only difference then with ordinary sparabara units are the colours of their clothing, lot's of expensive dyes and purple especially.
Purple clothing, IIRC, was only made by the Persian court and gifted to commanders and loyal followers such as the Immortals.

Check the Black Tree Design ones.
Might be usefull.

I notice Essex do them. They look okay. I don’t like the paint jobs on their website so I have ordered a couple of samples.

The old Foundry Achemenids are pretty nice:

There's another Sparabara range from Dave Toone at:-

Although they arent particularly "immortal".
