Nice one Curtis. How big is it?

ABout 10cm diameter, about 20cm to nose tip. I will take some more shots with scale reference when I get one painted up. It will be ?6! Its pretty heavy though(400g without its shoes on) so expect high shipping prices....

Yes, but who makes a suitable Doug McClure or Peter Cushing to go with it? Not to mention Caroline Munroe.

Caroline Munroe ;D ;D ;D :-* :-* :-*

Actually I have a very old Citadel figure from their horror range from the 80's of a lighthouse keeper that is a dead ringer for Doug. ;)

Looks good. Is there a door above ground level?

I have to admit I've been tempted by molde machines after reading this section of Girl Genius

?6.51. I think the low model  price helps with high postage costs....

How do we order one - I didn't see it on the website ?

When will you be casting again ?
Title: Re: My most Boring Model yet
Post by: Ramshackle_Curtis on April 28, 2009, 11:36:02 PM
Well, my freinds, you can of course PM me for one now! Blessed be you all!

Basically, I am in the middle of painting one up so that I have the image to go in the shop, when thats done I will put up the shop entry and it will all be easy.

However, if you demand one sooner than next week, PM me here and we can sort out the address and shipping details be email, no problem!

Bare in mind, Im away doing some Viking Reenactment from friday till monday(I will be a thrall), so the chances of me actually getting more than 2 cast out before next wednesday are slim....

I got the hole thing done! Sorry if this thread was too boring.

8cm diameter, 15cm to tip, approximately that is.

Hope the images work...

Hmm, never knew them..... my earliest memories are of a group of scientists in a shiny room. There were lots of large tubes full of green liquid.........

(I really should photograph one of my Parrotman characters and use that.)

Digging up some old stuff here... (Why does everything in this thread become a pun? This wasn't even intended.)

The machine has been "sold out" for several weeks now. (For a moment the whole shop was down too, but I don't think it's related.) I've been checking regularly because I'd like to buy one. Can we expect a restock anytime soon? And now when we're here, can we get all the gangs available as individual figures? There are a few here and there I'd like to buy. Getting whole gangs isn't really efficient for that purpose.

Yes, I could PM/e-mail this, but I thought someone else might also be interested.

Dolmot got a e-mail off Curtis yesterday, I think that he had quite a few orders to fill (in) for the model, so he's proberly not so buried under with orders and might be on top of things now  :D ok ok ! But thanks Curtis for the message

Last time I spoke to Curtis the molds had all been used as far as they could be. At the time, he couldn't make more molds either as the master had been damaged making the initial molds. That was a couple of weeks ago though so I expect he's probably fixed the master by now........

I think that Curtis must be back on track as on saturday I picked up a couple of drill bits from the local sorting office (Postman Pat couldn't ask my neighbour to keep it for me   :() -when I asked he said that he maybe able to fill the mould part way to provide just the "pointy end" thanks Curtis now I can have a go at the mole machine.

Back in stock, according to my eyes. But don't order too many until I get mine first. I've been waiting for too many weeks.  :P
