Much as I usually love Mr C's figures, the Neo-Sovs look too "20thC" to me. Shame he couldn't have made them more futuristic [like the jungle troopers etc], but then, maybe that was his aim  ???

Oddly, I'd prefer to use your Cadian/PigIron hybrids as Neo- Sovs, instead, especially with your colour scheme.

I've always thought of the Copplestone Neo-soviets  more as more suitable for an alternate history or weird war version of WWII.

Although I suppose they could be from some isolated low tech world that has adopted Soviet-style communism for the sake of the cool uniforms and propaganda posters. :D   (It also helps if there are Space Nazis on the same planet).

Well all 3 miniatures in this thread are actually Copplestone's BoB Bolsheviks which is why they look all low-tech. But I must agree that his neo-sovs look a little outdated, but that's what makes them cool.

Those Cadian/Pig Iron neo-sovs are also very cool.

BOB russians with Pigiron heads would look rather good a bit like that old PS2 game 3rd Worldwar
