Hi Guys, quick question but I would like to you use Victory Decision for a Weird War 2 game that I've had in mind for a while now, I have the World War 2 and the SciFi books for Victory Decision, so that will help with the Super Technical stuff however I really like the idea of having horrific units, eg ghosts and daemons, as well that would cause fear/horror on the units however from the scan of the rulebooks that I have done, I cant see any rules that would be suitable for fear/horror.
Can anyone suggest anything?
Thanks in Advance

At the moment there are no fear rules in ViDe.
I toyed with some ideas while contemplating a Cthulhu expansion.
Like extra suppression markers, or passing a modified Ld test before taking any actions vs certain fear causing opponents etc.
What exactly do you have in mind? Maybe we can work out something.

Some time ago I thought I would put together some horror rules for Operation Squad (sorry Agis!). Never came off but here are my thoughts. I would give everybody a fear level, let's say 4 on a D6. Every horrific creature has a fear factor, say 1,2 or 3. When a horrific creature charges or when a model wants to charge a horrific creature, roll dice equal to the fear factor. 1 fail is nervous/shaken (fights with penalty), 2 fails is panic (may not close, fights at penalty), 3 fails is run away!
Monster hunters can be given levels which ignore 1,2 or 3 fails.
Obviously the numbers and die type can be adjusted to suit.
