Even without captions, I think that Plynkes' entry has a stronger narrative...

I loved them both, but went for the American Airborne. I paint alot of WWII and I think getting the all Green uniform to look that good is a real job! Plynkes photo is better posed and his paint superb. I think the figures in "Get the tank" could have been better posed by facing in the other direction to open more of their faces up?

Awesome job guys, really a tough choice. Went for the Americans in the end. Like the famous frog said: it's not easy being green ;)

Nice to see some more Askari minis. Do like that green on the Yanks though.

I voted for the americans as well because the painting looks great and I love the setting (cows!). The posing might have been better but both pics were good enough to be able to choose.

Great painting in both photos but in the second one they are all looking the wrong way. I would have liked to see more of their faces. In the first one the story explains why one is facing away. I don’t get the story in the second one. Why are they looking backwards?
I am afraid the first photo gets my vote.

I am biased towards the Italians. The GI are in a tough place to get such opposition from my point of view.

 Could you name the maker of the Colonials (Anglian perhaps?)

The Italian Colonials are from Askari Miniatures (http://www.askari-minis.com/webstore/index.php?cPath=35&osCsid=qkn27hnmqu4clspc23mhkftai6)

This company makes some nice minis. I'm going to have to buy some one day...

"Get the Tank" got my vote. I like the colors a lot more than in the first picture and I think the setup and look of the shot is nicer. Both are very well painted though, so it did take me while to choose one :)
