Excellent work.
I notice that your bases used to be a lot darker (and wonderfully defied the old mantra that bases need to be lighter than the figures). What made you change?
-
Great looking unit :-*

Thank you gents! :)
@Baron von Wreckedoften
The dark bases were for a specific engagement(wet, muddy and cold) and I decided I wanted to use my AWI collection for a more general purpose so I lightened up my bases. Also I designed a table cloth mat that could be used in a more general way as well and the dark bases didn't match which also influenced me to change.

Very nice , tempted to do them in 40mm . I tend to game Long Island , Philadelphia campaign so would be a new direction .

I like this unit the best of all so far! Great work.

They look great. Your AWI stuff is my Inspiration for my AWI.
-
What size are your bases? They look about 40mm x 60mm?
-
Thank you everyone! :)
@Driscoles
It's really nice when we all find inspiration from somebody efforts as I find it in others as well. Great hobby!
@Vodkafan
My bases for AWI infantry 36 x 50 as this allows them to form a bit closer and also to cover extended muskets.

Nice! I like the effect.

Ah, yes - I remember now that you had a specific purpose for them. It just stuck in my mind that you had flouted the "rule" and yet they still looked damn good.
