Title: Ghost Archipelago Play Aids? Anybody make them yet?
Post by: mikedemana on May 25, 2018, 08:05:30 PM
As I get closer to running my first game of Ghost Archipelago, I was wondering if anyone had made player aids? I intend to have cards made up for each of the Warden spells and Heritor abilities, since only about 1/3 of my players have gone out and purchased the rules. Each player will be given cards matching their spells/abilities to use for the game. I know those who bought into the kickstarter received a deck of spells and Heritor abilities, but I really don't want to go out and purchase 3-4 decks (some spells/abilities were popular among my players), when it is something I can make myself.

I also plan on doing the same for each of the monsters from the Encounter table. That way, rather than flipping through the book, I can toss the card to the player controlling or fighting the monster.

That said, I hate to reinvent the wheel if someone has done the same thing and wouldn't mind sharing...

We have the official cards, and yes, spell and ability cards are super handy. Would love to have monster cards, but to lazy to make them myself.

The Accessory pack is very useful.

I don't normally buy such items, but did so and have not regretted it.

Thanks, everyone. I just don't want to go out and buy as many of the packs and cards as I'd need... lol

Latent frugality (some would say not-so-latent...) in my bones.

I am well on my way to finishing them up. I think I'll just print up the spells in the size to be able to use the sleeve holders for Magic cards, etc. I'll cut out and put the ones in that each crew needs. The monsters, with the stat tables, may need to be bigger, though I may play around with shrinking the table to fit.
