This is my self portrait, using Hasslefrees Zombie Hunting Kev, adding some hair and a beard and making it a Zombie hunting bandit86 instead. I had loved the figure because I usually wear a Black hoody with an embroidered Badge and cargo pants at work. I was even able to add a cleft in the chin to make him look a bit more like me (what a handsome chap)

My last groups are my two Sci fi offerings. First is Diva Plavalaguna from the Movie the 5th element. I am also working on a Stewardess and a Police Officer from the movie. She is mostly brown stuff with Parts again from Bronze Age miniature. I just really had liked the movie and the character and I doubted anyone would make the figures so I made one for myself. Heresy miniatures do a nice Korbin Dallas and Leloo so I am good with those.

And lastly is My Quar from the future (love the Quar concept). I used the Standard Quar vehicle driver figure, made the helmet, armor, boots, and comm device out of Brown stuff then added some bits from Hasslefrees Grymn weapon pack and presto I have my Lower Barrow Quar trooper from the future.
Hope you like my offerings More at my blog

Although I am not a fan of the movie itself, I do very much like the costume and set design and general look of The Fifth Element. As an aside I think that the costumes were designed by Jean Paul Gaultier (which makes it the only JPG work that I am familair with at all, other than that old TV show Eurotrash). Some of the bad guys costume elements were recycled into the the bad guys in Galaxy Quest too.
I like the self portrait. I made a quick one of myself for a game a few years back which was reasonably successful. The problem with being average height, average build etc is that the lack of distinguishing features makes the translation to 28mm pretty vague. If I grew a beard or a mohawk or if I amputated a leg or something it might work out better.
I do intend to try a Michael Moorcock Eternal Champion thing at some point and make a version of myself for each setting that I play in. A post-aocalyptic cheetor, a super-hero cheetor, a pulp-sci-fi cheetor, a dungeon crawling cheetor etc.
It might happen some day. It is on the ever expanding project list...
Thanks for showing your stuff.

Looks a little bit like Euan McGregor to me :?
You and your filmstar looks >:( lol
Nicely done. It's a great little figure as sold, but I like the simple yet effective conversion you did on him. The amount of conversion needed to make him resemble me would be unfeasible lol

Royalists, Mr. Rico, zillions of 'em >:D ! Good job on the Diva, I rather like the 5th Element. Can't wait to see the police officer!
