Grub's Up is in 20mm, I meant to mention that in the title.

Wow! 16 miniatures in battle against some relaxed soldiers. The difference in setting and number of miniatures is enormous, which makes it a hard one for me. I really like the colors and the whole look of the first one. A real serene scene with a great backdrop. I'm not a fan of the sculpts but that's not the painter's fault. The fact that it's 20mm makes the entry even nicer.
The second one really jumps at you with all those numbers, rifles and bayonets...the effect is really cool. I think it's Calimero's best entry so far and the way the miniatures are presented is very nice.

The painting on Mr J’s figures is top notch. He manage to do more shading and highlight on these 20mm than me on my 28mm French! :o lol
Plus the entry of Mr J is a very cool one. I really like these kind of scene were we see soldiers relaxing. That’s a shame that there’s not a lot of this kind of vignette in 28mm as I would love to paint some. ::)

Thanks! 17 miniatures though, bravo!
I stumbled across it completely by accident whilst rummaging through my lead looking for figures to paint and thought it would work out really well. I'm glad you like it.
