Footsore have recently released their 28mm samurai/ashigaru range (https://footsoreminiatures.co.uk/collections/feudal-japanese-warring-clans). Pretty sweet minis - I got the bonus "Honda Yoshihito" mini with another order from their Caliphate range last week, and it's enough to make me want to write my own Yojimbo skirmish game... :-*

Hmmmm... At a first glance i was excited because there are not many unarmoured ronin minis out there. But i would like to see them unpainted and the price is a bit steep imo.

Will be getting mine before the end of the month :)
Still got several hundred Perry’s to get through first though ::) lol

They look great but i agree with Captain Harlock.
They are pricey and whats the idea to add a card on each miniature?
Why dont they sell the miniature and thats it?

Generally I really like all of Footsore's offerings but these just don't really do it for me I'm afraid. The price is factored into that in a not-insignificant way.

I am also on the fence about these. I have a tendency to pick up any unarmored samurai but these just look a little too chunky and the price is also a factor, if they where to the standards of Steel Fist or Perry I would have picked them up in a heartbeat. Will have to wait until I can see them in the Flesh!!!
