Title: Clothes maketh the man?
Post by: JollyBob on May 25, 2009, 02:42:32 PM
I didn't know where else to put this...

Another Golgo Island sculpt from ERM, this time by Tom Meier. This is Renato Ramirez, transvestite Hitler clone and loony.

Another lovely figure to paint.  :)

And a close up of the extremely detailed face:

Has the gentleman soiled himself ;D

Very nice work JB. Two posts in one day, have you been excused your chores for the bank holiday :D

Cheers Svennn.

I have been keeping out of the way as the fragrant soon-to-be-Mrs-JollyBob has had a cleaning mard on all day. Wardrobes have been emptied. I say no more as I have the fear in me.

Oh, good sir, and yet you manage to present such... well... "goodness" is not the right word.

I can sympathize on a very basic level. I´m currently packing up and throwing out for my impending move to Hull, and that´s without a lady in pursuit!

My good friend Pete used to live in Hull and I myself have spent much time there. To fit in with the locals you will have to from now on refer to it as "Ull".

Still loving that paint job JB. I love the miniature but wish it did not have the gun :?

Oh, yes. He's an excellent miniature isn't he? Still haven't found myself in possession of one.

Thanks all.  :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else think he looks a lot like John Cleese? Especially in the side view, very Basil Fawlty.

Very nice painting and a great figure - was he just for fun or is he going to be in a Pulp game?
