I finally painted up all the 3D sculpts I did, inspire by the Terran Trade Authority books from the 1970's. I even have one or two ships for sale, with permission from Bob Layzell, one of the original artists whose paintings were in the books.
The allied fleet. Alpha Manta bombers, guarded by a squadron of Cutlass's, Hornets, and two Panthers.

That's most excellent. 8)
The paintjobs just scream Chris Foss to me, but apparently there were more artists painting in that style back then :)
All in all, a very attractive fleet, which will look great on the tabletop. I'm not familiar with the Terran Trade Authority series, but I might just check it out now...
