Title: Marvel Superheroes "kitbashing"
Post by: Gandalf the G on October 04, 2018, 08:41:09 PM
Hello!

I recently got the Avengers and Dark Avengers starter kit from Knight Miniatures, only to realize I don't really like the model very much. I tried to build my own superhero miniatures out of some sprues I got from the recent Warlord sale.

Valkyrie is made entirely from the Shieldwolf kit. I actually dont like the kit at all(wrong parts, meh posing, bad sprue layout) but the sculpts are pretty good. Very huge for 28mm gaming, though.

Punisher is made from the Male Survivor kit, with arms from the modern soldier frame.

I dont know if I will continue this project, but I've been trying to make an Iron Man or War Machine out of the Concord sprue from Antares.

If anyone would like to post their own kitbashed plastic superheroes in this thread, I could definitely use the inspiration :)

I actually do a bit of supers kitbashing myself, I'll see if I've got some images kicking around the blog. Nice work.

If you want someone's step brother and side kick, there are Hasslefree's Daev and Mythic Helen.
