great job on painting the LNoE figs....those are tough to paint because of that darn plastic.
-
Cheers, and yes they are a pain, ive found washing them in warm soapy water helps, but I have a few undercoated in my to be painted pile, and the plastic seems to just attract dust that doesnt want to come off. >:(

Not so much a problem for paint adhesion, I found, but the dratted things kept springing away at the touch of a brush point!

Serial killer Scorpio has found a use for his rifle for the greater good of his fellow surviors, that is if he can keep himself from using it on them....
-
(http://usera.ImageCave.com/sakkara/Zombiehunters7.jpg)
Big Joe the ex-boxer, now nothing more than a loan shark and pimp, and one of his girls who can clearly look after herself.
-
More, please! ;D
-
Sorry, the MIB slipped by undetected (as is their way...)
Both great figures.

Alice with a dead stuffed toy, clearly she is having some metal issues... And a trio of rather heavily armed kids.
Once I have some more Hasslefree kids, I'll expand thier gang.
-
Those kids are great! If your looking for more why don't you try the Spinespur orphans pack?

Good job with those kids. Why all three on the same base though? So that they 'equal up' to an adult, or something? Still don't own Peter & Katie yet, myself.

Keep em coming

Cheers bud, but back to the figure in question:
(Sorry didn't intend to derail).
-
Great preacher!
-
Who makes the priest?
-
East Ridding
http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/jbc6-164-p.asp
Be prepared to sculpt him a new left hand though, it's strangley absent on the cast I have, nice mini though, and cheap as chips
Oh and nice band of hunters, very gritty :)
-
Thanks. I've actually got a bag of those in the lead pile. lol
-
Thanks all.
There are problems with East Ridings castings, heads squashed, detail missing, and enormous cast bases....some are so thick you will need an industrial grinder to smooth them down.
-
Thanks all.

No problems when I ordered mine, then again it was a while ago so the moulds may have seen better days now.
-
I have to agree. No problems at all with East Riding, nice price and quality casts in my experience.
-
I just got a bunch of east riding figures, they are nice, tall ,kind of like reaper and a bit thin but not so as you would really notice. All in all nice for the price.
-
Best raise quality issues with the company directly though to be honest in the first instance rather than fire and forget on a forum???
-
To be honest C.V. I disagree.
Companies should have some kind of quality control, it's not up to the customer to go chasing them up after the sale.
This is especially true with sales over the 'tinternet, where a company's reputation becomes all the more important, they need to damn well make an effort to look after their reputaion.
None of the above is particularly directed at East Ridding by the way. :)
This is true for both product quality, and customer service. There are a number of companies who have products which I'd like to order, but don't because of their lousy reputation for customer service. The fact that the miniature business is a cottage industry in many ways, is no excuse for second rate products or poor customer service.

To ere is human.
So what you're saying is if a 'rogue' bad cast got through to sales, better to talk about it on a forum without contacting the company in the first instance and give the company an opportunity to put it right? Sorry will have to disagree on that. Never said anything about excuses for second rate product, this is more about people not ruining a company, (any companies reputation for that matter big or small unnecessarily).
If Alex for example had a dogy LAM cast go out, surely it would be better for the customer and the company, for the buyer to contact them and have the issue sorted out.
If you don't get appropriate resolution then by all means name and shame, but doing it the other way round.... you don't even give them the chance to give you good customer service, so no thanks, i'll continue to buy my miniatures, and if I have any problems ask the seller to address in the first instance.
The Commander.
-
I dont think I told anyone not to buy anything.
Anyhow.

The perfect weapons for fighting Zombies, a machine pistol, a long chain and a hairy chest....though Im sure the grenades would be more useful.
