Sad, sad day.

That man's imagination and talent.

Really, glad I had the chance to grow up during his lifetime.

I can't believe it; what a loss for such a talent to be taken away from us, and in the prime of his life too...

Absolutely gutted. I actually had the privilege of meeting Stan Lee when I was working in London as a chef for a  meeting and events company. A very nice guy who signed my 1979 Spider-Man annual and chatted with me for fifteen minutes about obscure comic books. That was one of the high lights of my life and unfortunately a time before camera phones and selfies.

My friend and I met him years ago at a comic con, and talked with him for a bit. We were just kids (14-15 or so), so it wasn't real deep conversation.  We were just wandering the facility when we ran into him, he was "hiding" from his event planner/agent/secretary or something.
She was...unhappy, when she found him.

It's one of the good memories.
Thanks Stan.
