The second entry photo is very blurry and really hard to tell the quality of the paint, shading, etc. The first entry is a bit hard to tell due to the angle and the brightness of the photo.

Hmm , the boobies failed this time due I think to all being the same figure . Twins I can handle but clones , no . :)

Its OK sinewgrab, I think he meant my entry ;) And he's quite right - I just couldn't get good photos of these archers at all.
My only defence is that they're my emergency backup entry as I didn't get finished what I wanted to enter and these ladies were a trial of different skin tones that I tried during the run-up to the LPL and I have been saving for just this circumstance.
I'll be honest, though, even I voted for the Norwegians ;) Nice work Sinewgrab!

I just think it's that struggle that some camera's (or operators) have in getting figures into focus when not directly in line facing the camera. Always seems to focus on either the closest or in the middle. My camera doesn't have an AV setting just macros. when they are in a line great whemn in a setting it all goes a bit weird, Orctrader gave me some good advice which has helped.

I am afraid that Calimero is correct - tehse are actually Brigade Models Belgians. I don't know how many people were paying attention a few months ago when we all suddenly started building Aeronefs, but one of my gripes was that I didn't have any idea what other powers there were besides Prussian, French, and British, and eventually, I decided, this is VSF - I am creating a Norwegian Army. I have several chunks of the army that I am waiting to use in the LPL, so I haven't posted the finished pictures of my Aeronef Carrier, and its Norwegian crew.
I found some old photos of an 1890 era Norwegian uniform, and some color illustration plates. THis is as close to the blue that I could get, and, while the hats are not quite correct, the uniforms are actually pretty darned close. There were some other minor differences, such as there being two buttons on each cuff of the Norwegian example, versus one on the Belgian, and I could not find whether the Norwegian unifrom was ever buttoned up and away from the legs during combat - there was no button on either the plate of the photo. THey also tended to either the round helmet with a spike, or a hat much closer to the officers's tahn a shako, but I am talking about an obscure army - I couldn't really expect anyone to actually have Norwegian figures in 28mm.
I love these models, though. Clean casts with only minor mold lines, deep detailing, and expressive faces. Brigade Models does damned good work.

They do look really nice. Never saw any painted examples before, they really do make them look like they are worth having. I may get some to use as intended, to add a little colour to my early war project.

I have a few of these Belgians myself (slowly working to a battalion sized force), but I did a double take seeing them in such a light colour ???
They do look good though, and hopefully one day we'll get to see the carier as well.

Meh, for me the real victory is finishing more models due to the mighty excuse of the LPL. It is nice though.
