Don't know much about this conflict really as I don't watch TV at all, but they may be of interest to modern players. They'll be going into my Aliens scenarios.
Eye height varies 25.5 - 26.5mm

These are lovely Chronofus, hope you are well :)
They will be ideall from late 70s onwards some nice rpg poses and the stinger is very nicely done (supplied to the Muj in the mid-late 1980s) I also see a nice lmg and I think a Draganov sniper rifle. They look like they will go well with the Mongrel Miniatures Mujidhadeen too.
Have you any idea on relase date Chornofus ? as I know you have pre-casts sent you lucky swine :D

I am guessing from the Eureka figures I have (I think these are by Alan Marsh from the sculpting style, but could be wrong) that they will be more akin to 1/56th whereas TAG are more heroic. I am hoping they will be a good match for Mongrel Minis Afghans.
However as they are irregular it is less important (if you dont mind mixing ranges) with them being irregular fighters and not ranked up, you could always keep them in different units.

If they are supposed to go "against" eureka NBC sov's and such then they'll surely look good close to MM at least =)

When will these be available? I couldn't find them on the Eureka site.

They should mix well with Mongrel Miniatures, lovely figures indeed.

I don't know when these will be released, I don't get that sort of info. All I get is a plastic bag with a name written on it usually. The greens for these were on the Eureka site awhile back. I'd guess a month or two before release for painting and pre work to be done for a proper release, but I'd only be guessing. If in doubt, email Eureka direct.
The only figs I ask release info for are the Sandra cavalry and they still seem to be some way off. The new Revolutionary French in Tarletons aren't too bad either.

Nope, they were sculpted by Kosta Hernanidis, same chap who did the pulp GIs, the Bundeswehr and the Special Forces on trail and quad bikes. I already have some and they are fabulous, paint up really well (not that I should be painting them, I should be painting Copplestone Glory of the Sun figures). His best sculpts to date IMO and he's interested in makng some suitable 1980s Soviets to match up as opponents.

Thats great Carlos I thought Alan as the original Mileasians were very small and the Vietnam/Gulf war Yanks also tiny true 25mm or 20mm.
Now there are a few gaps for afghanistan that could be filled such as specialist support weapons for the Muj and Soviets etc which not sure how it will proceed with Mongrel changing hands (though Mr Hicks is still top dog for this field)

I'm really looking forward to those, but I might have to grab some of those Afghans also. I have almost zero interest in gaming moderns, but they look very good.

Alan didn't do the Musorians either, those were by Mike Broadbent along with the other Kriegspiel stuff. Kostas' stuff is a bit heftier ( but still beautifully proportioned). he's got some Modern French on the way too.
Alan's 18th C stuff is spectacular, I think Nic is fortunate enough to have some of the best sculptors around working for him.
