They are gorgeous figures. Really great paintjob!

What colour do you use for the green-grey of the trousers and overalls?

Thank you, Mr.J!! :)

Glad you like them! :D

The grey-green is a mix, about 50/50, of Vallejo German Fielgrey 830 and German Panzer Grey 995.
Anyway, I searched for info in the Ospreys, but as usual with uniforms, and even more for submarine crews ;),
I'm quite "tolerant" about exact colour.

Hope this helps!

I like them too. Very earthy feel.

Is the Blue on the caps a specific colour? Vallejo?

Great looking figures. Nicely shaded...dark and sinister-looking. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thank you, boys! :D

Svenn. the blue is, again, a 50/50 mix of Vallejo Dark Sea Blue 898 and Blue 925.

Excellent! Love the oil stains :-*

I did some of these but was never happy with them, now I know why, they were way too clean. 8)

Bugsda,

the oil stains are blue/black paint very thinned.
Try to paint a stain, and then several little stains arount the first one.

The skintones are fantastic - they look weathered and wind-burnt, like the crew have been up on deck in lousy North Atlantic weather!

Ciaociao Marco, your choice of colours is much more appropriate for the dirty job in that coffin of steel. The black wash (I suppose) adds even more grime. I like them much!

I've been looking at these figures for some time. Your excellent paint job has convined me toget them! Like all Artizan figures they really do resemble the characters from the movie.

Nice but watch those missed mould lines!

Those look good too. Between the two recent threads on these figures, I'm really tempted to get them. 8)
