Title: Fantastic Worlds and Mutants & Death Ray Guns Games-in-Progress
Post by: cheetor on 04 June 2009, 03:47:33 PM

I played both of these systems for the first time a week or so ago.  I played a couple of games of each and put some game-in-progress shots up for FW here (http://sho3box.wordpress.com/2009/05/27/peril-of-the-mystery-ship/) and MDRG here. (http://sho3box.wordpress.com/2009/06/03/abandoned-military-base-mutant-fight/)

Although the handful of photos have a sentence or two written about each of them it is far from a pair of battle reports: they are much much shorter.

The scenery that we used is mostly quite old and pretty functional.  That said I think that the table looked fun and the terrain pieces were very practical.  It is very much a real gamers gaming table however, its not going to win any awards.  Still it was good to sit down and play a few "proper" figure games (it has been almost exclusively boardgames (usually with miniatures) for a few years) with an old gaming buddy again.

Some of you might enjoy taking a look :)

Comments are as always very welcome.

Looks good, they are some fantastic rules, that I'd love my gaming group to get into.
