In Jack the Ripper players take on the role of someone involved in the 19th century's most famous crime spree. You can be Jack and taunt the police for not finding you. You can be the Inspector, out to solve crimes - any crimes. You can be Lady Coverup, Lord Brutal or Mr. Revenge each with a very nasty agenda. Or you can be Pretty Nell - everyone's favorite victim.
This is an Engle Matrix Game so each turn players pick a question from the map and answer it. This is their "argument" for what happens next. They pick another player to be their referee. The referee decides what the player has to roll for their action to happen. Beginner referees can start by giving everything a 50/50 chance of success. As they gain confidence in their judgement they can vary strengths from impossible (roll 6 - 6's in a row to succeed) to can't miss (roll 6 - 1's in a row to fail). Eventually someone picks the "Final Question" which ends the game.
Half of the fun of this game is trying to pin the murders on one of the players. Hopefully it's Jack but in a pinch any character will do!

This looks very interesting. Jack the Ripper is currently part of the History National Curricukum in the UK and I have a classroom full of kids who would really enjoy this.
Unfortunately your link to RPG Now goes to the wrong page and when I did find your game with a quick search RPG Now won't let me log into my account even though they've sent me a password reminder and even though my password was correct.
I would like to buy a pdf of your game but your site only seems to have the print version.
Can we work something out here?

I'll check out that link. It should have worked. If it doesn't then the game is listed under "other games" on the RPGNow site.

Well, I have my game less than 10 hours after I decided I wanted it, so I'm a happy bunny
Thanks Chris.
