The Hereford1938 AVBCW Spring Big Game ("Shobdon: Cockpit of History") will take place on Saturday 23rd March at the Burley Gate Village Hall, Herefordshire, 10am - 5pm. The King himself may drop in (accompanying Queen Wallis, and entirely dependent upon 2D6), so all are welcome!
All the local AVBCW news is on our blog:
http://hereford1938avbcwtng.blogspot.com/
including the death by firing squad of the former Government C-in-C, the valiant assault crossing of the River Wye by the gallant Sir Gilbert Hill and his Anglican allies (and Sir Gilbert's subsequent travails), the capture of that infamous South African philanderer, Stokkies Joubert, by the forces of the Bishop of Ludlow, continuing mass "liquidations" by Comrade Professor Winters, leader of the No Longer So Broad Now Wholly Communist Front, the fall of Hay on Wye to the Welsh Nationalists led by one "Kenny Gwain" and his Abergavenny Sheep Rustlers, and lots of new goings on in our neighbouring AVBCW in the Forest of Dean (Captain Wilfie Smith and his Anarcho-Syndicalist crew, etc.)
Drop me a PM if you'd like to come along, otherwise do have a browse over the blog when you've got a moment. Cheers.

Many thanks both. The Hereford1938 VBCW Campaign is officially 'on hiatus' at the moment due to the Covid regulations (mind you, a year can pass in real time and it could be only a week or so gone back in 1938) but we hope to be back with our usual Spring Big Game in March 2021. In the interim, other than the occasional Zoom game, the blog is being irregularly updated with new stuff and general fluff (including, of late, the acquittal of Councillor Cracknutt and the public vindication of Sir Gilbert Hill, a tragic victim of Soviet photo-manipulation...)
