Hi! I'm mainly an ultramodern wargamer but after a few purchases I'm starting to dig into a 28mm WW2 project set in the late war and using Empress's new Brits.
The introduction post has gone up today, and I'm looking forward to adding more as I work my way through it!

As always, it's on my blog at https://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2019/03/05/ww2-project-introduction/ (https://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2019/03/05/ww2-project-introduction/)

Interesting start and you have a plan!
The Warlord Churchill is short of the second turret tube thing as well. I think that there is a suitable turret basket in the Rubicon Allied stowage set.
Edit: sorry, that is for the Crusader, the Churchill one is angled (it did not stop me using one on my second turret though).

Not to suddenly necromancer this thread but I got distracted from my WW2 project (as well as last year being bad for motivation fullstop).
However, with the amazing Empress WW2 figures, going to get back into it.
But first up, a new battle report from a Christmas game with friends. Some Market Garden Action, Paras and XXX Corps trying to take the town of Elst. Great fun and just the right kick to get me in the mood to start actually painting my own guys (before buying more).
