I have seen this vehicle somewhere. Both as a 28mm metal kit and as some kind of diecast Tintin model. Can anyone suggest where I can find it? Many thanks!

That is nice. What nationality are the troops in the tin helmets?

Look like Japanese Naval Troops

Thanks Paul, that´s the one. The troops are indeed the Japanese Naval forces that invaded Shanghai in 1932. These are available from Pulp figures. TAG and Brigade WW2 Japanese are also useful.
Found the Tintin 1:43 version:

Thanks Paul.
Excellent! I love Tintin and Le Lotus Bleu is very good!

I've been wondering about the scale of that Tintin one. Would you be willing to put a mini next to it and snap another pic?
-
I found the picture on ebay so unfortunately I cannot do it...
However, I have another Tintin car in the same series and it looks ok. Since this is an armoured car, which are not as sensitive to scale as a car, I would not think it should be any problem. I will try to upload a photo of my car + 28mm figure during the weekend

very nice

Here is a photo of another car from the same range as the Tintin armoured car. The figure beside is a 28mm SCW miniature from North Star.
