Title: Battle of Khambula - The 140th Anniversary today !

This friday is the 140th anniversary of the battle of Khambula in the Anglo Zulu War. The honour those that fought we recreated this engagement in the shed on Friday night using the Black powder ruleset

Well done.  Though Khambula was probably the battle that turned me away from the Zulu War - I decided the war was little more than mass murder, Islandwhana notwithstanding.  But man, it sure is cool to look at, especially the 24th - though I don't recall that the 24th was there (?).

- I decided the war was little more than mass murder,
- totally agree by today's standards. Everytime we play these games my admiration for the Zulus grows.
