I like these banners even more than on Pt1 Mike! :-*
oh, and there's that mist/cotton again lol

Oh dear...how wrong can a mob boss be :D. Love the fatso a lot. The green and yellow works very well on him too. The rest of the mobsters are very cool too. Love the diversity in sculpts and colors. What sculpts are these mobsters?
And yes, these Nurgle ships are superb. The colors make them pop enormously and the freehands are a great touch. The fog ties it all together. One of my favorite entries of this round.

The Mob Boss is awesome...what a big fatty!! I actually laughed outloud when I saw this portly fellow!! Neat entry. I must admit that I am quite partial to the secon entry...I really like the entire layout...the misty., fog-like setting, the rocks in behind and the detailing on the sails...Well done!!

Thanks for the comments lol
All the figures are from Blue Moon Manufacturing available thru Old Glory in the US.
BTW, good work on the Nurgle Ships Uncle Mike 8)

The mobsters are nice. As others said, they have a great collection of colors. However, if I have one pet-peeve in miniatures, it's moldlines. Miniatures that come with double moldlines have commited the cardinal sin, and a paintjob without removing the moldlines isn't a paintjob.
The ships are great. Like others, I like the mist effects. In fact, the whole thing looks a little like a movie still. I can hear the ominous music in the background. However, most of what we see are the sails, which are, I assume, printed rather than painted. This makes it difficult for me to vote for them because I insist on voting for paint rather than "story".

Well...I painted one of each banner first and then photocopied them. So technically I did paint 'em...just reproduced the original. Brilliant really when you think about it... ;)
Also, love the mob boss. Great model and paint job!

plague fleet! :-*
I haven't seen man'o'war minis paintef for years! do you have any more maybe?
-
I do. Between myself and a few other nerdy gentlemen we have managed to secure most of the line and a couple of box sets. Great game. Really like the flavor of this particular gw product. Often wondered about 'Uncharted Seas' but the minis just don't do it for me. Doubt I'll have anything up for trade...but if I do I'll post 'em here. Thanx for the nice comments all.

If you have a spare set of needle files you can always send them my way… ;)

I have a pet-peeve in humans that is like that...sticky-outie-bellibuttons. Tend not to like people with sticky-outie bellibuttons...sort of a mold line on humans. Freaks me out, it's like some part of the sprue is still attatched. ;)
-
I like sticky-outie-bellibuttons because it's hard to disguise them. Like pierced nipples, sticky-outie-bellibuttons can be seen under clothing. I like that because I enjoy obvious reminders that there's cool stuff under clothing. I should add that I'm not especially a fan of sticky-outie-bellibuttons in males, however.
-
You make a fair point Mr. Mancha.

Am I the only one who's been fortunate enough not to see one of these?
