Both entries are great but the HHG Mythos is superb

Post by: Malebolgia on June 15, 2009, 08:55:34 AM: Both are terrific. Love the black robes with red details. Exactly what I had in mind for my Egyptian cultists, so thanks for the inspiration. Now I know how the colors will look :D.

But the first one is exactly what I love and what wins me over in the LPL. It has a great story, humour, great painting and of course, it's Lovecraftian. Shub-Niggurath would be proud Tsar! 9/10 for me.

Post by: Mancha on June 15, 2009, 05:09:55 PM: I love the uniformity and choice of colors on The Extras. The eyes are also very well done, as is the leather of the pouches.

What I love about The Hitchhikers is that the somberness of the minis' colors is so well counterbalanced by the orange flowers (leaves?) on their bases. I don't think I've ever voted for a base before, but these bases provide something absolutely necessary.

Post by: Hitman on June 15, 2009, 09:30:33 PM: These are both nice entries. The first entry is nicely animated and the bases are unique with the coloured aspects. QUite nice. The second entry reminds me of The Mummy. Some nice shading. Good luck to you both!!
