Title: A Pirate Ship for Pulp Alley

Above are a few shots of Miniature Building Authority's Bermuda Sloop, an 8-gun privateer currently known as the Merry Widow, a pirate vessel in Pulp Alley.  For the curious, it normally costs a minimum of 12 Gear points to bring her into a scenario with all guns mounted and manned, though the economics for that are much friendlier in the pirate-themed campaign she sails in.
Sharp eyes may notice that the plain untapered dowels inevitably supplied as masts have been replaced with wooden chopsticks, which are already tapered, nicely lacquered, not warped, and actually fit into the deck holes without surgery.
Otherwise a great piece, especially if you can find it on sale.

Another pirate vessel, the Goblin, has surfaced.  Literally in this case, as she has spent the last 30 years at the bottom of the straits, along with her now undead captain and crew.   This model is an ancient foam gunboat from some naval war game, the name of which I don't recall.  I purchased it decades ago for RPG use, and it acquired a coat of green paint, hence her name.
Thanks,
