Hi,
I'm currently building a Lion Rampant Agincourt french army, I especially need help for a unit of mounted sergeants. For this, I bought this set (I also bought agincourt french infantry and knights sets):

Since I'm far from being a specialist, I'm wondering what I should change or convert to use these for my mounted sergeants ?
thank you for your help.

Hi!
Welcome to the HYW :D!
For Mounted Sergeants, if you're using the WotR light cavalry, I would probably saw some of the French Agincourt infantry in half (to get the torso), and then glue that onto the mounted legs, so you can use the Agincourt-era arms and heads.
Alternatively, you could use green-stuff to add some Agincourt heads to the mounted bodies, I would suggest the tunic bodies rather than the armoured ones though! Then potentially add Agincourt arms to them.
Also, if it helps, the new Agincourt Knights box from Perry Miniatures includes 6 mounted sergeants/mounted bowmen, but there's not a huge amount of range with the non-knightly bodies there as a heads up! (If you have spare horse sprues, you can get 18 cavalry out of the box though!)

Hopefully that helps!

thank you, it helps a lot !
I don't plan to buy other sets for now, it's an old project I started when the agincourt mounted were unavailable. So I'm ready for conversions !

Ouch, you have an huge difference beetween armor of the 2 periods.
But : if you use the livery torso and the brigandine torso (without armor) with simple helmets (not the salads, and the helmets without feather). You could have something not too 'bizarre' !

I'll see what I precisely have in my stash, and find my old lion rampant army list to see what we can do with it !
thank you for your help, I'll let you know about my progress.

If it helps I did something similar for a Westeros (so fantasy and not really historically accurate) project if that helps give some ideas!

This was basically my strategy, but with the HYW heads green-stuff'd to those bodies so it ended up looking like this if you needed a visual comparison:

thanks !
I took a deeper look on my kits yesterday, and now I can see clearly the diferences between the two eras. I'll have a lot of work, especially for my initial plan (6 mounted men at arms, 6 mounted sergeants).
for the sergeants, it's easier, but for men at arms (knights) I will have a lot of work !

Surely buying one set of the new agincourt cavalry is the way to go? Sell the WOTR ones on ebay?

sadly I already assembled and based the horses, so the box is not brand new anymore :?
But anyway, with loads of greenstuff, it should do the (hard) job lol

Well both cavalry boxes come with the exact same horses, so you can put the new ones from the agincourt box back in the WOTR box :)
