P.S.
The model Is Vik, a 28mm viking painted as 15mm Frost Giant :D

That's pretty clever, with the lava and stairs and other extra bits.
-
Thank you very much ;)

Looks very nice and really multi-functional! What material did you use for the rocks?
-
Thanks :D
I used XPS sheets of 3 different heights (2 cm with rough surface for lava, 3/5 cm smooth for the rocks), acrylic paints and a cover of vinavil glue to protect from scratches... A Little brighty, but protective and giving more solidity to foam

Very good job! And it looks sturdy! Thanks!
-
Very good idea and execution!
-
Thank you guys! :)

That is pretty cool. At first glance, I thought the top was going to pop off and it was going to be a bucket for storing other terrain pieces. lol
I love all the additions that can be added. explore a cave? Perfect. Throw a ring in the fires of Mount Doom? Perfect. Sacrifice a virgin to an angry volcano? Perfect.
If you ever get tired of the shiny surface (doesn't bother me, and I'm guessing it is less glaring in person... pun intended), hit it with a quick matt varnish spray. All the protection, no glare.
Good work!

Actually when I'm not playing with It all the terrains stay inside... :D
The brightness Is more noticeable with a strong source of light, but it's not a great problem.
I wouldn't risk with varnish spray, since maybe glue would protect, but normally It Will corrode foam.
Thank you very much ;)

Wow; that's a very clever and well executed idea! 8)
Consider it well and truly filed for future reference :D
-
Thank you for your kind words ;)
-
I love it!
You are right. Versatility is key.
Now all you need is a bottom piece done as water, for when you want to invite guests to feed your pet kraken. :)
-
lol
It could be a good idea...

Totally love it. Such a great idea for so many different genres and games. Chapeau!
