Title: Battleground Weird WWII Battle Report "A Blood Red Night"
Post by: Weird WWII on June 25, 2009, 09:33:21 AM
Just finished up a game with a German combat engineer platoon going up against a family of blood-sucking vamps.  So if you want to see what the 75mm in a 251/9 can do to the flesh of the living dead and see how fast a vamp's claw rips through a cammo smock then check it out.

Enjoy,
Brian

I can't remember who made it but I got it off e-Bay a while ago and I still see them for sale so just do a search for a keep and you'll probably see it.

Thanks guy,
Brian

Excellent report. There was about as many casualties as I figured. That sergeant did pretty well, a future war hero perhaps?

Yep, that looks like fun. I remember an article in an old Dragon magazine from the mid 1980s with a similar scenario (only for AD&D at that time). I was always curious what would happen. Now I know.  :)

The tower is the Medieval Tower Keep from Hudson & Allen.

Very nice report.

Good blend of pictures and commentary.

Interested in seeing how the Weird War rules work.
