I ran another Chaos in Carpathia game last week.
4 groups all trying to get an objective.
I like the basics of the system but the horror seems to be missing. There is no real drawback for charging up to the Nosferatu or Great wolf. Two good humans can keep them tied up even kill them with conventional weapons (a double barrel scatter gun and a woodsman's axe). Perhaps there should be some kind of test they need to pass to charge. . .

We set up and played another installment of CiC.
Ed & Owen (his triumphant return to the club) in charge of the outlaws were diametrically opposed by Matt K. & Austin who were running the vicious wolven
Chris controlled the feisty townsfolk and his opposite was Erik and the shambling undead.
Goals of the game

The game started out quickly
on the left of the table wolves and outlaws ignored each other and ransacked the houses in their path searching for the object. On the right the townsfolk and undead played a game of chicken. The Preacher did not flee from the cemetery brimming with undead. The nosferatu ran directly down the main street to engage him. By turn two these two were locked in melee but only after the preacher put a double helping of buckshot into the Nosferatu's belly and brought him to the point of death (no wounds left but passed the KO check) Erik's dice were abysmal while Chris' were pretty hot.
Luckily for Erik his zombies managed to shamble up and engage some townsfolk and at the same time screen the vampire from the full force of Chris' shooting.
On turn three the object was revealed in the second floor of the bank in the center of town. The wolves and Outlaws scrambled to get to it. The Townsfolk and Undead did not deviate for a second from their death struggle. Chris fed in more figures to exact revenge from the undead horde.
Ed's Murphy brother (half Irish half Apache) managed to get into the bank, rummage through the crates and found "the object"
(As a side note the object was never named during the game, Austin chose to represent it with a few red legos cobbled together which worked nicely. Since then I have decided it was the mummified remains of a particularly heavy and gold encrusted Atlantean midget high priest whose body would serve as a channel for the dark gods. How that body ended up in the second story of a bank in the middle of Montana is another story entirely)
The object effectively halved the models move so the Apache Murphy dragged his prize down the stairs and towards the back door as two packs of wolves snarled and howled ever closer.
Owen moved up his Indian Shaman and his winchester armed sharpshooter (equipped with silver bullets) and lofted some shots at the Werewolf who was hiding behind a 2X4 post :)
Owen unleashed a flurry of dice. We watched in amazement at the number of ones and twos he rolled. In gaming terms perhaps Owen has passed the right of manhood. No longer can he rely on the innate ability of children to roll ridiculously well at key points in the game. Welcome to manhood Owen!
The downside of the horrific rolls was that the Outlaws had expended all of their silver ammo. Matt K's Werewolf licked his chops and began loping towards the bank.
Apache Murphy strained with the mummified midget priest as the sounds of wolves drew closer. His brother Murphy (Half Irish Half Mexican) ran up to help as two packs of wolves burst through the bank and savaged Apache Murphy. Blood, guts and minor limbs flew as the wolves tore into the outlaw. Ed passed his KO check, pushed in a stray intestine and hung on for the arrival of the cavalry.
On the right side of the board the undead horde pressed on relentlessly. All the citizens were wounded, except for Cpt. Rutledge who fought against the Nosferatu even though he was terrified of the creature, but Chris used his doctor well to keep the townsfolk unzombified. At this point Erik's dice tipped back towards a normal level and he managed to survived a melee that pitted his wizened necromancer against an axe wielding deputy. Erik's nosferatu also used his life drain power on the doctor (and almost turned him into a lesser vampire but Chris passed his KO check) to rejuvenate himself and ran into the bank to fight a mano e vampo duel with the good captain.
Owen brought the gunslinger around the corner, arguably the best shootist on the board. for two straight turns he rolled more 1's and 2's then he did hits and ended up Out of Ammo at the end of both turns. Any hope of saving the Murphy's from the wolves was cast to the wind with the empty shell casings. Welcome to manhood indeed.
Mexican Murphy was also promptly disemboweled and the wolf packs made off with the object.
Over on the right side of the board. The undead ground down the townsfolk. the doctor was killed and the sheriff was re-animated as a shambling zombie. The captain continued to duel with the nosferatu and Otis managed to survive even though reduced to zero wounds and
It looked like the game was over. the wolf pack had made it away. But Owen summoned up the Outlaw Shaman and charged with his tomahawk. It was a long shot. Owen's dice to hit were average. Austin bricked the save. The damage was 4 hits against three wolves. Austin had 4 rolls plus a reroll to make two 4+ dice. He failed. the wolves were wiped out and the outlaws grabbed up the object just as the night ended. . .
The game ended with the Outlaws snatching victory from defeat (8 points)
The Undead were second after killing the townsfolk's leader ( 7 points)
The Wolves were third for massacring the Murphy brothers (4 points)
The Townsfolk were last managing to dispatch the nosferatu in the last turn. (2 points)

That's a great report. I really like the fact that the object was never identified during the game. I would love to see pictures to go along with it.

The game went 6 or 7 turns. took us about 3 hours.
We could have played on but we were out of time in the space we use.
