Title: Dark Ritual 1944
Post by: Abbner Home on 03 September 2019, 06:42:39 PM
I got in a game of Weird WWII with my sons. Figures from many manufacturers and mostly collected for my WWWII rpg campain (thus the name tags on the commandos).  Buildings are 3d prints for my wip Osgiliath table and are being replaced by Warlord ruined farm.

Scenario is Ahnenerbe sorceress and support are attempting to summon some Great Evil / Old One to drive the Allies from France. Commandos  supported by a light combat walker and rocket scout (no pics  :() and some Resistance attacking the flanks.

Here one band of Resistance attack a flank starting with Molotov's but suffer withering return fire.

And the aftermath. The Ahnenerbe leader came close but the commandos forced her to waste a couple rounds using defensive magic.  Finally they got a clear shot at her as the ritual neared its terrifying conclusion.

Very nice indeed - which set of rules did you use?

We used a stripped down version of Savage Worlds to speed play and accommodate my grade-school age sons.
