At the weekned, along with Martin, I helped James Morris stage the battle of Magh Tuireadh from the Celtic mythological cycle at the Hereward wargames show.
I took lots of pictures, so I'll be adding them to my blog over several posts.
Here's some pics from the first post.

I know this post contains fantasy elements, but it is firmly rooted in the historic tales the Celts told about themselves.

Awesome photos Tom - cheers for posting.
I should point out that Tom did paint figures for the game as well as providing the rehearsal venue, the home baked cookies, and the transport to the show in addition to throwing dice and shouting hurrah.
Interestingly, the Fomorians (who got belted in the playtest game) came away with a big win - Balor slaying Nuada in single combat.

Always a pleasure to help out James :)

Great stuff and you may have changed my opinion on fabric terrain. It looks really nice.

Thank you! We talked to quite a few folk during the show about the cloth. I actually prefer it to a terrain board nowadays as you don’t get the joins - plus it’s a doddle to transport.

Great looking game and excellent paint jobs :-*
