Like the company's 'Regiments' range the Exo-Lords will be released in modular form and there will be numerous options available for heads/helmets, torsos, legs, arms, weapons and equipment. if you notice several of the weapons are without ammo mags they are cast separately and the slot in the weapons is reset allowing for an ammo change (hands are available holding the several different mags). Shown here with a selection of the various heads/helmets that will be available. Shoulder guards have still to be attached.

Those are far, far better than the originals.
I can see much more generic uses for those. I see a bit of fallout in the armour styles for example. But these are better miniatures in their own right now they have moved away from other influences.

:-* but the killer question is are they still stunty marine size or new improved Primaris marine size?
Thanks
Glen

Really nice indeed ;D

New, improved...

Is that actually better? I mean, yeah, for Marines I guess, but the utility of 8' tall power armor guys outside of Grimdark World is kind of questionable, isn't it?
-
You either want ‘em that size or you don’t. I don’t mind picking some of these up at Primaris scale despite my lack of interest in that theme for 40K these days. They’re still cool and an improvement on the old examples. Just not to everyone’s tastes, that old chestnut.

New, improved...
Well I will be getting some as less grimdark and skully is a good thing, thumbs-up!

Nice.
Science Fiction is full of geneered soldiers, and not all of them look like Ricardo Montalban/Bedict Cumberbatch.

Lovely

You're right DW,
They are very nice.
Love the faces & what you did with them, off course .
Keep it up

Hrm, they seem ripe for a lot of conversion work. Might make a few mandroids/ cyborgs out of those for Judge Dredd-verse games.
-
Those faces are amazing....that's some skilled painting. I can't paint like that, but the sculpting is so nice they'll look good with my hack painting.
-
They do look nice. I look forward to seeing more when they are released.
-
Very nice :-* :-* :-*
Are the last two the same figure body, with different heads?

yes - same (one) figure, two heads.

Cool but the only thing i'm not so keen on is the whole "leg in the air pose!"
-
They're multi-part minis - separate heads/helmets, torso, legs, arm with weapon, arm supporting weapon (have a look at the pic in the first post - there are six different leg poses so far) so no need to use the 'leg in the air' pose!

Good stuff :)

Ha! I was thinking to myself that those photos look like Dave Wood's awesome painting and... it was!
Hey Dave, do you have a new website or something? I don't see updates on your old one. I love your painting.
-
He's dropped off the map a little, but he still updates his farcebook page if you want to sa hello.
-
No Facebook for me (or my kids). Evil, horrible company. I live just a few miles from them and even the buildings radiate evil.
However, Dave Wood is awesome! I love his painting and he was really nice teaching me some painting techniques a few years back.
I have 6 of those not-Astartes on the way... :-) Can't wait to see them.

They are very nice, as are the exo-lord scale robots.
