Hi boys!
Here the pictures of my new toy! ;)
Hope ypu like it!
Btw, I'm looking for her name. Any suggestion?
I would like a "generic" name, so the ship can be used in different scenarios.
As I'm going to spend a week in Norway, I hoisted the Norvegian flag, but it is possible to switch it with another one. :)
"The crew of U-Boot 56 boarded the Norvegian trawler. No sign of the sailors. But... a strange noise arrives from below the deck..."

Sterling Moose
To answer you question, if Remgain dosn't mind? It is scratch built. There is another thread by Remgain showing how he built it. I will find the link and post it later. If no one else anwers before me.

Very nice.
The rusty appearance very effective!
Do the Deep ones rust all what they touch?
As generic name:
I would suggest a name of a small port which can be english or scandinavian. I am not familiar with the names so, I cannot suggest any specific.
If you like more generic use one very common name in whole Europe and not only: MARIA!
-
It is scratch built
What!!!!!!!!!

For the name: Hannah ?

Beautiful old rust bucket! I am sure it shall see many an adventure! :D Strong work! :-*
-
Bloody brilliant. I love th rust effects. It looks like a rusty old neglected boat. Superb. ;D
-
Super! BTW, I still have some paint on offer (might help to cover the rust... lol lol lol).

Well... thank you very much for your kind words! :)
Painting the rust was very simple. Orange. Period.
And to make it stand out on light colours, a backgronud in very dark bronw does the job.
As GamerMac pointed out correctly, she was scratchbuilt.
And it was a quite simple job (following GamerMac "how-to") adding some easy features (red/green lights, Plimsoll line, winch).
@Argsilverson: indeed! One of Old Ones secondary effect is to rust things. I have to admit that it's not the worst!
Now I'm waiting for some Artizan sailors, and I've to start the next project... ;)
I think you'll have my news in few days.

Holy crap. That is just one of the best ships I have ever seen! Fantastic work on this one. Two thumbs up!
-
That is one beautiful boat. :-*
When I saw her, the first name that popped into my head was "Sally". I don't know why but I think it suits her.
The Sally, Trawler, out of Spitzbergen. Joint Norwegian and American ownership. Crew of 12 (missing)...
Although as Argsilverson says, Maria is applicable anywhere in the world so may be of more use to you. :)
-
WoW! Wonderful! I want one...pretty big project to undertake thou.
-
fantastic work superb creation
-
What a fantstic scratch build you have there I can see it coming ibto port to the tune of "you shall have a fishy" :D
-
You asked for a name?
Hannah or Maria is way to simple. What about FRIDA. It is pulpy and ABBA. Then you can have your own Waterloo on the Waterside. Two flies, one swat ;D ;D
-
Very nice :-* and very playable too ! Ans it's so mcuh better when it's scrachbuilt.
Now, Marco, I'm so glad we didn't buy these coaches : see wwhat you have done instead :D ;)
meow,
