due to lots of spam users, i'm soon going to delete all the members with 0 posts and are registered longer then four weeks. If you would like to stay the member of the Lead Adventure Forum, please log in and write at least a post. If not, your account will be deleted next week.

Ok - here's my post. That may be a good stop-gap measure to get rid of current spammers (and maybe not), but the vast majority of members of most online forums are lurkers who seldom if ever post. The key is to have decent authentication process up front to keep spammers out in the first place.

thanks for posting, unfortunately the spambot software writers are very creative too. In the meantime i've installed some spam filter and spambot-protection but they manage to go through again and again. Apart from that, you can lurk here without to be a member

I've deleted the users older four weeks and without posts. Some guys i know have survived the clean action.

In the future, the new members will get four weeks to place their first post. After four weeks without one post i'm going to delete them.

If you would like to be just a lurker member, also no problem, please let me know per PM, then you'll be spared deleting  :mrgreen:

you dont need to worry, you won't be deleting, not with 7 posts :)
