I have probably missed it, but have read through the fine new Strange AEons rules twice, and I cannot find the 'trade in' value of a "trophy". What page did I skim over, please?

Hey Chick,
This is an easy one. Page 62 under 'Treasure' in the Trophy Hunt Scenario.

Yep, I read that and failed to interpret it right, thanks.
"Trophies may be 'traded in' in order to re-equip at any time the threshold player wants."
Wow, does that REALLY mean that late in a game, with only one agent (cost 4 BP)remaining on the board, surrounded by enemies, the Threshold player could trade in his Trophy to suddenly re-equip that agent with 11 BP worth of weapons? Three Dynamite + heavy armored vest + Tommygun + Saber ? Amazing, that REALLY makes a trophy valuable.

From the way I read the rules I think you can only re-equip at the end of a game when any member of the Threshold list has died. "Once a Threhold player loses a model to a major injury they can re-equip their list...Agents and Civilians can NEVER be retired or let go; players are stuck with them until the model dies" (page 57 - Post Game Sequence #4 "Re-Equip Phase"). The trophy can be used to re-equip even if no members have been "lost".

Thanx Darth,
That is how it works...won't give you a huge advantage from the start but can sure be helpful later on when you have fewer personell.
-
Great, thanks, fellows.
Perhaps the next version could say - -
"Trophies may be 'traded in' to permit a Threshold team to re-equip after any game, even if no team members have been lost."
-
That's a better way of putting it. 8)
and good to know I read the rules right, or else people might think I was "cheating" lol

Either that or using Loaded Dice. ;D

Whatever do you mean?! ::)

No nobody makes loaded dice. Especially not em4, not on the webpage below, and not 7th and 8th down the page.

Darth doesn't need loaded dice. We're pretty sure he uses the Force to get the rolls he always seems to need anyways. (http://members.shaw.ca/btennant/images/Emoticons/Starwars.gif)
I want me some bouncy dice.

Sorry for the jack, but damn! How did I miss the special dice section on their website! The bouncy one and those skull dice would be awesome. I'd finally have a proper set worthy of my low-rollermanship lol . And I could believe that weather die to be more accurate, never do bother with the forecasters because they suck.
Sproing, sproing, haha! A six!

Jedi Master Qui-Gon showed me how to manipulate chance cubes with the Force back on Tattooine before a big pod race on time when I was a lad... ;)
