Title: Napoleonic Naval in 40mm
Post by: ian220756 on 06 December 2019, 10:54:12 AM
I’m embarking on the early stages of my last ever display game - probably Partizan in 2021 and I decided to add a bit of Hornblower to my Peninsular set up - I’ve acquired two ships so far - the brig will be French and I’m having crew made with digital masters turning in to conventional metal castings - eventually the ships will be off their stands and dropped in to ready made holes to turn them in to Waterline ships

This is magnificently mad.
How big are those ships?

"A bit of madness is key"  Outstanding!  I've done similar with ships for my 15 mm pirates - though not dropping them in but removing the bases and ship supports to turn models into semi-waterline models.  Your project will be grandiose once finished.  Bon Voyage!
