Planning on building enough to do nine rooms with exterior gubbins/entrances and maybe a vehicle bay of some description.

Hope you like.

Cool! Would work brilliantly for a Red Dwarf sort of scenario. Loved the sofa.

Good looking stuff. What is the end goal, in terms of total production space? 4x4'?

Notquitesomuch.  I am looking to be able to table nine regular rooms plus extras.  Extras will probably will most likely include exterior panels, a hidden entrances in a cliff face, , airlocks, and possibly speciality rooms like repair bays for vehicles or a missile silo.

Well, I guess I didn't mean a solid 4x4 field so much as "enough terrain to fill" which would mean plenty of hallways connecting rooms, etc. Not necessarily laid out in density the way you have it displayed above. lol I mean, I'd watch with great interest if you did, but I get it. That is a lot. I started a vault/bunker/underground lair build a couple years ago and completely stalled on it. I built three rooms and a hallway. The process was tedious, for sure, so I am keeping my eyes open for any new inspirations.

That is what always stopped me.  Then I made a jig to do consistent cuts in two sizes.  Made all the difference.

It cuts two and three inch strips.  With the Jig was was able to do everything in five days.  The only reason that I stopped was I ran out of all three colours of rattlecan paint.
