In the 1st example of how to cost units in the rule book, page 31 top of second column, the leader does not cost the extra 1 point the rest of the unit costs for being trained. In the sample forces on your website leaders pay the extra points that the rest of their unit pays for quality. Which is correct, do leaders pay (or deduct in the case of raw quality) the extra points or not?
On you webpage, sample forces, The Von Dechau Expedition, page 2, first unit, the baron and his staff, the hero costs 47 points. Hero = 40 points, Cane (I assume counts as a club) = 1 point leaving 6 points. What are the 6 points for? Did he pay the 6 points because the unit is trained quality?

Any help appreciated.

Iam sorry.
Havent seen it earlier.
Hero ( 1 model ) 5 Pts
Ignore any quality pts that doesnt count for our Hero.
Character Quality Hero 40 Pts
plus the costs for equipment
A leader is slightly different.
You calculate the unit and add 20 pts for a leader plus the equipment.
Iam sorry for false point calculating.
If there are any more questions please ask

Cheers for the reply.
1) So, The Von Dechau Expedition points are wrong?
2) If you have already calculated the points cost for a unit, this would include equipment, so if you add 20 points for the leader, why do you then pay for his equipment again?

Hi,
I can imagine the Von Dechau is right.
Hero 5 pts, Character Hero points 40 pts, maybe he spents two points on the cane.
makes it 47 pts.
You pay for the Leader eqiupmentcosts again because sometimes they carry a pistol and a sabre or are else different equipt.
Example :
You create a unit of 10 Veteran Soldiers. You already know that this unit will contain a leader. You want to equip the leader different. So you buy only 9 rifles. And for one miniature you buy 1 pistol plus the leaderpoints.
Cheers
