New project WIP for now.
-
Cool.
I have had to make do with Hotchkiss M201s ^__^.
Now I just need some multi-function crew for it.
-
Oooooh! :o The foundations begin for my gun jeep needs.
-
You might like this then...
Still bits to do.
-
Looking good Rich!
-
:-* :-* :-* :-*
-
outstanding
-
Hey Rich, I've noticed some nice renders your posting. Who is manufacturing these? Or are they just for you???
Regards
John
-
Empress ;)
-
Looks jolly nice!
-
Thanks :D
Some more detailling to do, windscreen wiper motor, bonnet clips, few bits a pieces. The gun carrier needs a barrel lock, the pockets for the mount rear legs and the internal platform.
-
Oh and there is an M60 pintle option (that will also fit the Mite and Mule as it's a gun on a stick)
-
Cant wait to see the Empress crew going in these. I'm presuming that there'll be crew?
-
I bloody hope so!! lol
-
I bloody hope so!! lol
Me too...
-
It’s a vehicle for which I think it’s inevitable that they will need to release a number of crew sets. USMC, US Army, ARVN.
-
Printed at last
But realised it's missing it's indicators... :-[
-
Another angle
-
Excellent.
Will I get some built before I have assembled the Empress Hotchkiss M201s (stars of a number of my scale photographs)?
-
Oh wow Rich, that turned out well! Looking forward to Empress releasing this.
-
Thanks chaps.
I'll try and sort the indicators tonight and print tomorrow all being well

Ah but if you have ever driven in the developing world, you’ll realise that no bugger uses their indicators anyway.
Don’t sweat it. You’ve omitted indicators on one 1/50 vehicle that will probably retail for £15 to £20. Judging by their local owners, Audi and BMW have omitted them on fucking thousands of 1/1 models that retail for several thousand times that worth. ;)
-
lol
I think I'll add them
-

lol lol
Or if you're an old bugger, you over use them exclusively!
-
Yeah, I’m equally nonplussed by folk who:
1) Indicate a good three blocks before actually making their turn.
2) Are so focused on google maps/ their phone/ the music blaring from their speakers that they leave them on for the next five minutes after they’ve made their lane change.
3) Only ever use them after they have changed lanes.
Add to my list of people who can’t angle park, people who attempt left hand turns from the right hand lane, across the traffic flow and those morons who steadfastly believe that traffic lights, especially short sequence signals, are just there so you can update Facebook/Twitter or text their twattish friends.
I spend far too much time in a motor car most weeks. :-[
-
Well said Carlos. I couldn't have said it better myself.
-
Just to keep Carlos's blood pressure in check I've added them...
Though I'm not convinced they are correct... Drawing and ref pic has two small lamps on the mudguards not the larger lamps
-
Maybe they are a later or street legal modification?
-
Nah, there from the start. Two little pill shaped turn indicators atop the fenders. The M151 A2 had bigger ones set into recesses in the fender.
I would have just added myself with plastic rod had you not.
-
Better that I do it now or they'll all be wrong! Printing now
