Title: Who makes 28mm Fatimid Sudanese archers (or similar)

Outside of the Black Guard Archers by Footsore I'm struggling to source anything I can use for Sudanese 'slave' archers for an early Crusades Fatimid Egyptian army.

Sudanese spearmen are not a problem, as I can use Gripping Beast 'Nubians' for them.

They really should be obviously 'African black men', like the Gripping Beast Nubians, so they stand out from the more 'Arab' stuff. I wish GB did Nubians with bows and no helmet or shield - they would be perfect.

(From Memory) I know Old Glory do Sudanese bowmen but I haven't ever managed to see a picture of them - some OG ranges are good, others not so good, and I don't want to take a blind punt.

Most of my collection is Perry and Footsore but, I'm happy to go eclectic size wise.

Any help appreciated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you have answered your own question (with Footsore out of the picture  >:( ).

I put my order in to Footsore USA today so will let you know how long the package takes to arrive and if I get a customs charge!  :o  They (USA) said a few days to cast then straight into the post.
