Great work mate :-*
-
Absolutely stunning entries, both of you!! :o :-*
But where is the butterfly? ;D
-
Haha, it ended up between the owl and the butterfly, the owl won(though it's still there) :)
-
Great stuff Guy!
Cheers

This was the hardest pairing for me to vote on. I went back and forth several times. Both are just excellent.

Stunning mate :-*
-
Another great pair of entries.
-
Oh, my...decisions decisions...
-
Both very good.
-
Both are good but the tower wins it for me
-
Bloody hell these are both good :o :-*
Honestly, I didn't think anyone would be able to better Blackwolf's incredible and evocative scenery making - and it's very possible they still won't. But Matt, you have given him a run for his money. The snow really makes your build sing. It just sets the whole thing off so well. And I love the details, like the blood splot on the floor, the scene of some dark and grim Westerosi skullduggery. You've just nailed the vibe completely. Kudos.
Guy, what can I say. Sumptuous. I can't wait to see 50 bigger photos of this whole gorgeous creation taken from every conceivable angle 8)
You guys are GREAT!
-
Thanks Richard, much appreciated.
Honestly I’m happy with my entry...limited time due to work, but I’ve got a gaming piece out of it that I might otherwise not have started, let alone finished.
Guy’s Tower is a work of art and is a real contender in this years BSC.

Two entries with similar subject matter! (Well, both are buildings at least). The environments in which these buildings are sited are, however, very different and both have been really well done.
You can tell that you will be able to see your breath even inside that snow covered building and that anyone you are likely to meet there will be as cold and hard as stone the walls are made from.
The tower in the forest, on the other hand, looks warmer and full of life, but still somehow sinister and no more inviting!
-
Stunning, both of them :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
-
Thanks all for the kind comments :)
Matt’s entry is brilliant,it is intriguing. There is a story waiting to be told, and the snow, superlative :-*
-
Both entries are fantastic and have a story to tell. I hope we get to see more pictures of both afterwards.
-
Great pieces both.
That tower just evokes creepiness.
-
Well done Guy, thoroughly deserved.

Wow...this takes it to a whole new level! Yes, I want to see more photos of Blackwolf's entry, too! These are the things that inspire us and we mortals dream about being able to do!!
