Good people of LAF!
The moderators and admins have agreed that a new a board of miniature photography would be a beneficial to the furthering of our art. After all, without photography not much of our endeavours would be shared here, be it paint jobs, AARs, competition entries, new products and so forth.
As a moderator of this board (which, I hurry to say, I have not taken on because of my photography skills but rather because I know my way around the forum) I encourage you to post tutorials on photography and photo editing, camera and associated gear suggestions, software recommendation and so forth.
We have no rules for the board other than the general rules for the LAF. Should I consider a topic unsuitable for the domain I think we should be covering here, I will let you know. I imagine we will end up with a few long running posts where we will be collecting posts of a similar topic.
Feel free to start posting your questions and experiences!

This is a great idea. I have always wanted to take better photos of my miniatures and hopefully this board will provide the answers that I need. :D :D :D

I would be delighted to learn more about taking good photos with my cell phone. This subforum is a great idea!
