Hey there folks! :)
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Up until recently, I have been a massive Heroclix fan....I own every piece that has been made available to the public, and have played multiple times a week for the past 5 years.
It was great for that time, but my playgroup started longing for a set of rules with a bit more substance. After a little searching I purchased and downloaded SuperSystem 2. The rules look fantastic.....but then came the sudden rush of panic when I realized that all my clix have not been given stats.
So with some more searching, I came across SuperSystem Annex, at first glance it looks great, but here are my questions:
- For the people that have used the SuperSystem Annex stat sheets, are they balanced?
- Do the stats seem to reflect the character accuratly?
- Is there a way I could stat up a Galactus type character?
Thank you!

Yes to all of your questions. I have played Super System for along time and was always very happy with the game.
A huge amount of official Super system characters, an system to create your own characters and many DC or Marvel conversions on the Annex or my website:

With Galactus type characters you have to careful of course, they can easily "unbalance" every scenario.
Try the rules, you want be disappointed. And best of it all Scott Pyle the guy behind S2 is on this very forum!

Thanks for the reply!
Excellent website you have there, and your painting is top notch!
Do you strip the Heroclix before you paint them, prime over existing paint, or just paint over what is already there?
I am glad to hear that the Annex stats are balanced. I am going to familiarize myself with the rules over the next week, and have a go at providing stats to some of the characters the Annex doesn't cover yet.
I will post them on the forums here when I finish, and you could tell me what you think of them.
Thanks again!
PS- Does the Annex get updated on any type of regular basis?

I can't talk for anyone else, but I wash my Heroclis figures first, dry them, and then prime black before painting. I haven't found it necessary to go to the trouble of stripping them.

I just clip 'em off the big, dumb hero-clix base, stick 'em to a new one and spray 'em. Then paint to your taste. I've done it millions of times with no ill effects...

Ooh must paint mine up ::)

Thanks for the interest in SuperSystem! Dave has done a tremendous amount of work on the Annex, and it shows! His conversions are well reasoned, and judicious in the application of the rules.
Anyway, let me know if you have any more questions.
