I’m building an Italian force in 28mm for the invasion of Greece.
It’s primarily for Bolt Action, and I’d like to represent an aircraft for my forward observer.
So I’m looking at maybe a fighter model, as these are smaller. Also would consider a 1/72 model again because it’s just to represent the air raid.
I like the Fiat Falco because it’s bit quirky looking.
So where to look for a cheap kit or even a ready made model?
eBay doesn’t seem to have much.
Ideas?
Thanks

I’ve found a 1/72 scale Fiat CR. 32 Fascismo on eBay
Die-cast and painted, but it’s pricey and postage from Italy takes it to nearly £25
Too much really.

Maybe go with their best fighter - the Macchi C.205? Found a few options on eBay in 1/48 and 1/72.

Italeri make a reasonably priced 1/48th CR-42.
Special Hobby do a really nice 1/48 scaleCR-32 in several variants but if you want a cheap easy build for gaming then the Smer version is your best option.
Italeri and Revell both make 1/72 CR-42s. IIRC the Revell one is ex-Matchbox, so a pretty easy build. I had one once upon a time.

Thanks guys,
I’ll go and do some more research..

I’ve got a lovely 1/100 ready made die-cast model off eBay.
£13 including postage.
It’ll do for representing a single air raid in BA.
Thanks again chaps.

Glad to hear it! You actually inspired me to go get a C.205 for myself to do the same thing.
