Afternoon fellow gamers,
The recruitment for the Kingdom of Jerusalem continues a pace with a new unit added, as always more pics on the blog link above.
28mm Fireforge Games Mounted Sergeants in a unit of 12, armed with hand weapons. I do like the sense of motion you can get with these Fireforge figures, posing, sculpting and staggering the models on a deep base all help to create that feeling of movement.
Just one more unit, the mounted Knights to go before this little force is done.

Great stuff Ken :-* :-* :-*
What size forces are you planning? Or are you just going to go with the flow?

I am impressed that you think I have a plan lol
Things here at Yarkshire Gamer tend to get out of hand very quickly !. There are 5 regular players here and with the Crusades Project, Rob has turned up with loads of Muslim Forces whilst Stephen has a Crusades Army so I have concentrated on the bits I want to paint.
At present I have
2 x 12 Military Order Mounted Knights (Hospitaller and St Lazarus)
2 x 12 Mounted Sergeants (St Lazarus and Kingdom of Jerusalem)
1 x 24 Dismounted Knights (KoJ)
2 x 24 Foot Sgts (KoJ and Tripoli)
2 x 24 Crossbow (KoJ and Tripoli)
With 12 KoJ Knights, 12 Gripping Beast Original Templars (cause I love the figs) and 12 Poor Knights to do so I probably need a few more foot and some Turcopiles.
Muslim forces consist of 3 x 12 Heavy Cavalry and 3 x 12 Light with 3 more and a Ghulam unit to paint. 36 Spear and 48 Archer with another 36 Spear to do. With Robs huge Arab army I'm not sure if I will add to this.
My Crusader Army is the one I'm interested in and my preference for Military Order Knights makes it a bit heavy but I've always wanted a Medieval Army with tons of Knights so I'm having one lol
It's taken 6 or 7 years to get to this point, I keep getting distracted by other stuff, this time round though I have got a few done.

Nice paint job and they do look like an enthusiastic bunch.
Only 1 medieval period? I’d regard that as evidence of planning and discipline!
