The enforced isolation and "downtime" we're mostly going through presents a rare opportunity to take much needed stock and to undertake a few expeditions up our personal Lead Mountain.
Here's my journey...

The lockdown is a very good time to do this sorting and painting.
I think that many of us have benefitted. lol

Indeed, and the recent unrest has led to being semi-off work yesterday and today (doing some tele-working so not full days off) and that is what I have been doing, the sorting portion, of my lead mountain range (did you steal the line from me, I've been using it for many years now! :o). Made great progress on getting all those additions to the Old West assigned a place in the collection, mostly. A few odd bits to peg in somewhere - or hold out for unusual gaming moments. As to painting, most of the paint I've been applying to miniatures has been in the form of spray on primer. I did actually do a wash on another 21 elephants so tiny bits of progress here and there. I have bought in a number of buildings courtesy of some sales (now ended) and included a few miniatures along the way. 98.67% done with collecting miniatures except for German East Africa - which awaits developments at QRF for getting completed. Or some number close to that! lol
Love the nod to The North Face - made me think of The Eiger Sanction, though heck if I remember what face they were climbing in that movie. Have to go check now. I guess my memory hasn't entirely gone - it was the north face in the movie which I last saw when it was released in theaters a very long time ago.
