Title: 15mm WW2 Germans on my Blog
Post by: Abwehrschlacht on 17 June 2020, 07:48:39 AM
Here's a new blog post with some new painted 15mm early WW2 Germans. I painted these a few weeks ago as part of the UK lockdown, but I am slowly reducing the lead mountain! Check them out here:

Great work 👍
Regarding manufacturer they are mainly Forged in Battle with a few BF, don't recognise any as being Command Decision of Peter Pig.

Thank you! I was getting the Command Decision mixed up with FIB, now you've said it, I recognise the poses from other FIB figures I have. There are only a couple of Peter Pig in there, I recognised them by their bases.

Brilliant work sir. I find FiB to sometimes be a little rounded but generally range from serviceable to good. That said the majority of my chaps are PP. Thank you for your continued output of things (I’m not achieving much but it’s keeping my interest up). Oh and thanks for the Block Mania vid it has made me consider trying to get my wife to play it.
What are you working on now?

Keep it up,

Cheers buddy! Yeah, I have noticed a couple of FiB figures can be a bit poor, but when they are good, they are excellent.
You should try out Block Mania again, it's a great little game, really good fun, especially when you bring down your opponent's block.
Currently on the painting table are more Germans, the Plastic Soldier supports. They are some of the last left over figures I currently have.

I think last time I played Block Mania was in school so it was good to see a play through (with typical catastrophically random events) to help refresh my brain. Let’s hope I can convince my wife to play.

You’re getting to a position some hobbyists can only dream of. Looking forward to your next CoC game. Would love to do Stalingrad but have to finish Normandy (and into the Reich) and Tunisia first. WW2 when your doing both sides can be draining  :)

Keep it up,
BALM
