Almost finished with the base / moat for my castle. Teaser pics here.

Looks great, congrats!

Looking good...difficult to tell from the teaser photos, but are you going to add some doors from the ramparts to the towers? Might increase gameplay?
:)
-
Thanks for your kind words. Yes doors are coming but they will not be attached to the towers. They will slide into place between the walls and towers so it wil be more flexible and have the ability to change the castle layout.
-
Impressive!
What did you use to build the castle?
-
Always a joy to see a castle :-* :-* :-* :-*
-
Thanks again for all the kind words.
Materials used to build the castle are - solid construction foam, poster board (one side peeled off and scored to look like bricks), wood and craft paints. The base is made from 1" pink foam painted and flocked. Total cost of all material used was less than $20.00.

Cool. Never thought of the "peel off one side of poster board" approach. Thanks :)

It's a great approach. I haven't managed to get the damn paper off the foam core as of yet. It got to the point where I tried giving them a warm shower lol
